I had the privilege of working with two talented, up-and-coming local artists, J3Y.ESS and XOKrome, on their powerful new track, “Traumatised”. The song carries a deep, raw message about battling depression and confronting a heavy, painful past. When they approached me for a music video, I knew we had an opportunity to visually reflect the emotional weight of the song.
For this project, one of my favorite artistic choices was the use of washed-out colors and desaturated scenes, perfectly mirroring the somber tone and emotional depth of the lyrics. It was a creative challenge that allowed me to experiment with visuals that truly complement the message, and the result speaks volumes about the struggles expressed in the song.
